About the team

Our team is responsible for developing the Canary SaaS platform. As we’re a small cross-functional team in a Scale-up environment, the role is very diverse.

responsibilities What will your responsibilities be?



  • Design and implement backend product features using cloud technology
  • Develop functions that handle and transform the incoming data streams (IOT sensors, batch ETL, API integrations …)
  • Find ways to efficiently store and retrieve the incoming data streams
  • Install and maintain the diverse cloud infrastructure (Databases, Lambda functions, DNS, …) with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Serverless)
  • Implement DevOps practices (CI/CD)
  • Integrate external services to enhance our dataset
  • Work on a large variety of tasks as you’ll be part of a small team in a scale-up environment

Technologies used

Python, Linux, javascript (NodeJs), SQL, Elasticsearch, Amazon Web Services (Lambda, API gateway, ECS fargate, EC2, Route53, codepipeline, …), Terraform, Serverless, Git

  • Bachelor or Master degree in a software developing field or other STEM field
  • Strong knowledge of software developing
  • Agile self-managing mindset
  • Eager to learn
  • Good knowledge of English
  • ReactJs (nice to have)
  • Graphql (typescript - nice to have)
